What Our Registrations Mean for Your Project

RPEQ. Queensland's Professional Engineers Act 2002 requires professional engineering services carried out in or for Queensland to be done by, or under the direct supervision of, a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland. Design work for Queensland projects can be certified in-house.

CPEng and NER. Chartered Professional Engineer is Engineers Australia's assessed standard of competence, maintained through ongoing professional development. The National Engineering Register lists engineers who meet it.

APEC Engineer and IntPE(Aus). International registers, administered in Australia by Engineers Australia, recognised across participating economies. Relevant when an owner, lender or contractor sits outside Australia.
